Project Runway: Weeks 3 & 4
Ok, so I missed week 3 because I was at GLIMUN (totally worth it though), so I had to catch up on it tonight. My boy won! :D I was happy. His outfit was awesome, and I'm glad they finally had a menswear challenge. You always hear the same thing whenever there is a challenge where someone has to design for a man- "I've never done menswear before". Anyways, to make a long story short, I'm happy Jack won and I liked his design. I also liked Kevin's design (the purple shirt with vest) and Elisa's (green shirt, kinda earthy, with vest). Overall, good show. And.... not a fan of Carmen, so I'm happy she went home.
Week 4 was tonight, and I liked the challenge. For those of you who don't watch, each person had to choose a disgusting fashion trend and modernize it (shoulderpads, neon, zoot suit, oversized sweater, etc.). They were put in to teams of three, and amazingly Christian did not annoy the piss out of me. I think the challenge where he was in the bottom two humbled him a bit because now when I hear him talk I don't immediately think of nails on a chalkboard. I loved the designs of the team that won, although I'm sad Chris is now gone. He was funny.
