[Over the phone, you hear a noise--not someone speaking, but the sound of...clapping?
CLAP CLAP CLAP!]
Please, please, attention, everyone! If you may be so kind, please listen. < Thank you! >
To those of you familiar with Mayfield, I am sure you have all noticed something quite strange: we have received a tremendous influx of new individuals all at once--this is very likely related to the long drought of newcomers over the last two months. I lack the proof of this, but for now it is a reasonable assumption I will take to be the truth. Although this may seem like nothing at all, it is anything but: it is a visible change in the Game Masters' functioning, which should be investigated as closely as possible. I have considered the following possible explanations:
< ICHI! > Something or someone, whether deliberately or inadvertently, has hindered the Game Masters' ability to place pieces into the game; this may be a person interfering, whatever tools used in the process needing repairing, or an incident of some kind drawing away the Game Masters' attention.
< NI! > The sudden swarm of new pieces may be intended to draw attention away from a specific individual. It may be a new ally of the Game Masters attempting to pose as one of the ordinary 'captured' pieces for whatever reason;
< SAN! > The Game Masters bit off more than they could chew and their ability to process the number of people they are trying to place in Mayfield has become too difficult and doing so en masse like this is more effective. This is certainly the most boring theory.
With the past drought and current influx alone, this level of reasoning is possible for Furudo Erika. What do you think, everyone?
For those of you new to this Game Board--Mayfield--do not worry if my words go over your head and mean nothing to you. I am here to elaborate, explain, and describe anything and everything within my power concerning this game; you will find few with as wide a repertoire of knowledge concerning Mayfield, so please, please! Feel free to ask! It is, after all, my responsibility.
Why?
Because...
... ... ...
[CLAPCLAPCLAP!]
--I am the Great Detective Furudo Erika!
