Day 6: not gonna happen
Day 6 of my fiction fest isn't going to happen. I wasn't able to get ahead yesterday and today has been a bad sort of day, so I'm going to breathe deep and just plan on picking it back up tomorrow. I've got a couple things partly started, so I'm confident. Posting for days 7-14 will be at the clexmas community, because I'm a little cracked, but I'm not so broken as to think I can post simultaneous stories for an entire week and get anything else done.
However... because I am trying to be at least more productive, here's a little bonus for the people who read on LJ.
Rift fic:
It started because of Lois of all people. She'd whispered, "It's for the good of the world," and then shoved Clark into Lex's side and called loudly, "Oh, look, there's the happy couple now!"
Lex had been flawless, putting an arm around Clark and smiling benignly as he turned from his conversation to Lois.

Lex stared at the matching bite marks on either side of his neck before lifting his glass of orange juice and toasting himself in the mirror.

A gift!fic for an undisclosed person and event
The area around Smallville always seems to be flat, but there are curves in the landscape, valleys and hills. Lex walks into a little copse of trees and does not walk back out for hours.
Everything else I've been working on is relatively short and doing even a single line is likely to give away the entire fun of the story (or would be terribly confusing/boring for lac of context).
