Bike and bookcase

Below are a few images of my bigger purchases over the last couple of months. I've got quite a lot of stuff to list, but this post is for public consumption. Then following the random real life blather is fandom/television/movie blather.

It's a very cool bookshelf! And now you need books, books... um, well, maybe a few other things too. ;D It looks sturdy enough that you shouldn't have any earthquake problems with it. Nice wide base. It'll take something really big to make that sucker fall (at least upwards of a 7 or more). Just make sure that if it does tip over or the books fall out, that they're not going to do so on your head while you're in bed. Keep the heaviest things lower on the shelves.

{snicker} I love the name for your bike and the reasoning thereof! LOL. I think it's quite cute. :) You're also getting quite the workout bringing the bike in and out and in and out!

I tried out an episode of 5-0. So far so good for it! It's not riveting, but definitely enjoyable. And it's got woobies. (First episode I saw... falls off a cliff, cut to commercial, has broken arm, fixes it himself... oh man! It's like fanfiction. ;D)

Smallville canon sucks. It's too bad it's such a great fandom with such great ideas, because the canon... yikes. But we still need you to be writing in it! Too few of us right now to be without your genius for it. (But we'll still love you even if you don't ^_^)

Thank you. I will revise my bookcase so that the heavy things are down low. And though the printer is tiny, it should probably go down, too, and not be on the upper shelf (right over my head, on the desk side).

The bike is a great tool for working out anyway. Or rather, not having a car makes the bike somewhat mandatory, which is okay, too. I really like it. My bike ride in the morning is less than 15 minutes, even when I'm feeling slow. (Also, on a side note, I started running again this weekend. Not a lot and not where I was six months ago when I first twisted my knee, but much better than a year ago, before the gym and Weight Watchers.)

Ha, you must have seen last week's ep, I think that's the one with the cliff. And the heart signing? I tried to watch it, kind of, but when my computer didn't deal well with the commercial on cbs.com, I didn't make the effort. I like the banter.

^__^ Ah, thank you. I am writing, actually. For the tentacle_fest and one of the prompts from my last poll that has taken off quite nicely, even if I've no idea where to go with it from here. It's still a fun 4k words of college!AU Clex.

And, yeah. Canon is almost never a reason I get into fandom.
