While not my favourite episode I did enjoy this one. I liked that it all had to be resolved in 42 mintues. I quite liked the crew but it was a bit freaky with the sun being alive and burning people up. ooh whats next, oh the human doctor and family of blood. Now that is something to look forward to.

As good a reason as any. :-)

No other Doctor in any other story has ever uttered the words, "I'm scared." Which is one thing that really sets this episode apart, IMO.

Amen. We probably have Ten's lack of brain-mouth filter to thank for that but it was a powerful moment for the character though.

Indeed. It's one of the only things that gets my attention about this episode aside from the possession scenes overall.

It's worth noting that it is only when Martha's aboard that Ten shags the console (he does it S4's The Doctor's Daughter too!). Is it displacement activity (because he wants to shag Martha but isn't allowing himself to do so)?

As a non-shipper, that's not my take on it, but everyone who watches sees a different show, so what do I know?

What a wonderfully cracky idea :D

*giggles* Thanks. It's true though - Ten 'shags' the console loads in S3, and then never again until TDD (by which point, of course, he knows Martha's engaged to a Doctor of her own...)
