I just saw the news about David Tennant getting the lead in an NBC pilot. It will be his debut working in US television (unless you count his current gig hosting Masterpiece Contemporary on PBS). The show is a "comedic legal drama" called Rex Is Not Your Lawyer, in which he plays Rex.

Here's hoping it does, and that his part doesn't end up recast for some stupid TV-executive reason. And that he gets to use his natural Scottish accent. I love Scottish accents.
In the meantime I'll watch out for his Hamlet on PBS next year... not to mention his upcoming last hurrah on Doctor Who. *bawls*
