Clyde

Clyde was one of the feral cats who hung out in our back yard. He wasn't really one of our regulars, but he was a familiar face, a medium-sized gray tuxedo cat. He was very wary of humans, but we knew someone had trapped and neutered him at some point because he was eartipped.

Tonight we found him dead in the yard. From his position, it looked like he had been lying down, relaxing in the grass while waiting for feeding time, when he died. We're guessing heart attack.

After we buried him, we listened to Blue Collar Man by Styx, and Stray Cat Strut by the Stray Cats in his honor, even though we didn't really know him that well.

RIP.
