I'm sure everyone had read this by now, but I had to put a rec for this fic in my journal. It was a WIP but I've just read the last chapter and loved it. There's no big sex scene so it might put some of you off but it's absolutely beautifully written. I love all of her fics (I think it's a woman)! I STILL don't know how to do links but the fic is called RISING FROM THE ASHES by the brilliant oldenuf2nobetter over on The Hex Files. I think I've read everything this author has posted and have never been disappointed.
