Html is a friggin biotch!!!
I’ve been working on my profile (yes. I know. Again. *sigh*) and it took me forever to get things right. I. hate. Html-codes.
You can hardly imagine how frustrating it was, to have the page look just right on one www html-preview-page, and have the whole thing look like shite when handing it over to LJ and its destructive formatting-system!
The solution was quite simple, actually. There’s this smart little tag called I could have used - should have used from the beginning - which prevents LJ from messing up my insanely perfect code. Yeah. After I finally used that sweet tag, formatting took me another fifteen minutes.
Why?
I had to go back and find all the things I tried to fix beforehand.
*groans*
Yeah. Totally uninteresting to 99% of my f-list, but there you go.
You just wasted a precious handful of moments of your life, reading yet another of my pointless rants. *points a finger and laughs*
(Don’t forget to laugh back at someone who has wasted a precious four hours of her life, trying to create a structured profile on LJ.)
I’d be very grateful if someone just checked my profile out, and reported any errors there. It can always be that things display differently on IE than they do on Firefox or some other browsers.
Anyway.
I wish my f-list a productive morning/noon/afternoon/evening/night, depending on where you are in the world.
