Dang...
...My mp3 player just decided to call it a night. This could not have happened at a worse time, because
a) I have ripped, converted and re-tagged over 1500 songs over the past six months, and this took a whole lot of my precious lazy-time,
b) I am walking to and from work, which takes about 50 minutes each way, and I simply can't do that without music to listen to,
c) even if I were to spend the ridiculous 30 kroner (60 for both ways!) it costs to take the 7-minute bus ride, I still really, really want to be able to listen to music on the bus, mostly because people noises tend to piss me off, and
d) I've recently realised, as I mentioned in my previous post, that I really need to cut back on expenses, and if I'm going to buy a new player I'm going to want at least 20 GB, and that ain't cheap.
The silver lining is that I've recently bought a new mobile phone, and I should be able to put some music onto it. This should work fine temporarily. Now I can be one of those hip people you see in commercials who listen to music through their handsfree set and then suddenly they can answer a call in the middle of the music and then the music comes back on when they hang up. (I am worried about the amount of battery this hip lifestyle will consume, though. Will I need to charge my phone every day?)
