First I have to say that this song rocks my little socks off!
It's been a sleepy weekend, yet quite eventful. We've watched movies and been out drinking. On Friday, we finally got to watch
Child's Play. We'd wanted to see it for quite some time, seeing as we're both horror fans. But what a letdown! It was not scary, it was not funny, it was nothing. Boo! We watched
V For Vendetta on Saturday (around noon, I guess), but I can't really claim that I've seen it seeing as I fell asleep on the couch. It did seem very good, though - I caught the beginning and the end. I also forced the bf to watch
Overboard with me; it was on TV Friday night. I've seen it hundreds of times, but I love it.
Last night, we had some friends over and then went out. It was pretty good. I only had a few glasses of red wine, and I'm glad I stuck to that, otherwise I probably would have felt so sick this morning. Which I didn't! Not being hung over rules. The bf, however, was not in such good shape. He had six beers, then two gin and tonics, and then two more beers - bad idea! I try very hard not to mix different types of alcohol when drinking, because being hammered and sick is just the worst thing. I didn't buy even one drink at the club, which I'm proud of. Money saved, hangover avoided! Brag, brag. I requested Gasolina - as always. That DJ guy must be so sick of me, I always always request that song.
And now the weekend is just about over, which sucks. Of course, going out on Saturday instead of Friday ensures the weekend getting ruined. I'm sure some of you know what I mean. If you go out on Friday, you put the social activity on the same day as the last work day of the week, and then you have two whole days to do absolutely nothing if you wish. It just makes the weekend seem eternal. I love that. But oh well, it was a good weekend anyway.
I'll find out next week if I get that job I interviewed for. Right now, I'm kind of hoping I won't get it, although it would improve my financial situation. It just seems so scary and exhausting to begin working somewhere different. And it's quite a trip back and forth. Oh, well. I'm sure whatever is meant to happen, will happen.
