I really see no point in bonfire night. Guy Fawkes night. Call it what you will. For a country who is supposedly civilised, we still condone celebrating burning a man at the stake. Then we get bent ouf of shape about people lighting the fires that we condone? Call me crazy, but thats not right...
Thats not to say I dont like the night. I just dont see why it happens. I suppose thats why I actually kind of do like it. Everyone knows its pointless, they just like to see fireworks roaring into the sky and raining hot colour over the world.
