... I believe my time will be better spent looking for a crew that will accommodate my NEEDS. Therefore I am looking to join someone else's vessel as a crew MEMBER. I will try to outline my credentials as well as possible, although I do not know how many of my previous skills will be useful for this type of WORK. However I will do my BEST.

No, I do not. I'm just not sure I've seen someone who has credentials going from desk work to combat capabilities.

You may wonder how many may be useful, but I think all of them are useful in some manner.

Required long desk hours means you know how to do paperwork, reports and all the like. Leadership qualities are useful always for a number of things. Carrying out death sentences upon witches and heretics. This tells me you'll do what needs to be done, regardless of what is needed. Setting aside personal matters to deal with work efficiently; this tells me like above, you're flexible, and you'll do what needs to be done.

My question to you is, what are your needs?

I am very glad to hear THAT. I was a bit worried because I do not have any credentials specific to space EXPLORATION.

I will do anything I am told without QUESTION. All I ask is for organization in the work place and a leader who is REASONABLE. I would also like to work with a crew and captain that has a suitable set of GOALS. I dislike sitting around and doing NOTHING.

Well, as a bounty hunter I can't say there's a rigid amount of organization in my work, but there is some structure behind what we do.

I would like to think I am a pretty reasonable hombre, unless the situation calls for something crazy... as I am a bit of a gambling cowboy at heart who loves a good game of poker and isn't afraid to bet high when the chanced profit far exceeds the risk. I try to save that kind of bet for my best hands though.

We do have some goals. I'm trying to organize an expedition with other captains to explore and learn more about this final frontier and to find some way to get everyone back home, and I need a science officer who can help us figure out just what the hell we're running into... or in some cases through. So, what do you think, pardner?

I believe we can come to a COMPROMISE. I am also certain I can help with organization if it is NECESSARY. I am also fine with a bit of RISK. After all if you do not do your best and use all of your cards it is not a worthy DUEL.

I believe we see eye to eye on many things and we will work together WELL. I will take you up on your offer and enlist as your science OFFICER.

A compromise sounds good to me and I'm glad we see eye to eye on the risk thing, I don't think I'd be able to have members on my crew not accustomed to any risk.
