Almost sold out at Soulfood
Brown Paper is sold out, I'm sold out and Soulfood is not very many tickets away from being sold out for the May 9th show. If you want to come to the show, get thee to Soulfood.
I want to stress to folks that half the house is standing room. We figure that many, maybe most, will want to dance anyway.
I'm psyched. We have an all day rehearsal tomorrow - and then Saturday the show! We'll have tickets for the October 17th show available at radically discounted prices too. I'm trying to keep the idea going that if you come to the all the shows you'll save money - enough to bring friends.
I was hoping to finish one more song, but instead I made unfinished progress on three. That's the way it seems to work for me. The lines come slow these days, but there is much less cringing going on. In the past I might have "settled" for something that was almost there but not. These days, I'll chew on a word.
The wonderful J, W and L and Sue painted skeleton cookies to give away. They are delightful and so are the cookies. Not vegan though - egg in the icing. Sorry.
