Londons a bit screwy at the moment, but i should be use to it by now considering 9/11 happened a week after I moved into my LES apartment in Manhattan. But London feels a bit different, maybe because some of the bombs were near my flat, which by the luck of the draw was broken into the day of the bombings...just heard from my flatmate about this ( Read more... )

Yeah, there was a crime wave for the day, as they knew the police were tied up.

Walking along the motorway is a serious offence, yet it was the only way for many people to get home on the 7th, so the police turned a blind eye.

Also a guy did a robbery at a store in Warren Street area, even though there were so many police around.

Some people eh?

well, some girl is subletting my room and her laptop was stolen, i kinda feel bad about that, i dont know why, like i totally screwed her.

Don't think that! She subletted it and you didn't give her a guarentee that terrorist wouldn't hit London therefore crime rates would have gone up. Or did you? Ha ha ha

Laptops are replacable and quick frankly, if she didn't have insurence for it, then that's a bit silly.
