In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the police who investigate crime and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders. These are their stories.
Sam and Dean Winchester are brothers working as hot shot lawyers in New York. Dean, a prosecutor for the District Attorney's office, Sam, a defense attorney working on the opposite side of the justice system.
Outside of the courtroom there is Castiel Novak, a detective with the NYPD who works to solve crimes that Dean can then prosecute. Castiel's superior, Zach Adler is a corrupt chief of police.
Behind closed doors, Dean and Castiel are compiling evidence to put Adler away.
