Ohhhh fuck it.
I was writing this long rambly thing about Jenny and how I love her so despite her aggravating behaviour at times, but its driving me nuts.
The fact of it is,
I love Jenny Schecter.
She is introduced as a fairly one sided girlfriend to bland and boring Tim and evolves into someone experimenting with her sexuality, realizing and accepting who she truly is and trying to function in a world where everything has quite literally changed.
She makes new friends and new lovers.
She chops off her hair and changes everything.
She writes a semi-autobiographical book about her destructive past and self destructive present that actually gets noticed in the world.
She tries things out with Moira/Max and is able to end them when she realizes that she truly is a lesbian, and Max isn't a woman anymore.
Jenny is a truly flawed character and she's aware of these flaws.
But despite all this she is thoroughly interesting and never boring.
She challenges the people around her and herself, and she doesn't take shit anymore.
Whether its a homophobic group of kids or a closeted and judgemental actor.
if anyone knows where good caps from the l word are, that would be awesome.
i'm so frustrated trying to find them but i dont want to have to cap it myself.
