Arm still hurts. I think I made it worse by throwing the football around with the guys on Thursday. Jenny's computer must be broken because she comes online for three seconds and then disappears. I keep waking up in the middle of the night and my elbow feels like burning, probably because I've turned over and straightened my arm out whilst sleeping, which hurts like hell to do when I'm awake.
I started taking painkillers on Thursday because I couldn't keep my mind off the pain. As soon as it went I felt really giddy and happy for a while.
There's some crass but beautiful irony here. For legal purposes in England and Wales, the day you turn 18 is the day you turn an adult. There's nothing left you can't do, including vote, be the director of a company, buy alcohol and gamble. The day I turned 18, I left behind my juvenile status. That same day I got my first job. I woke up hungover at someone else's house, stumbled home, went to work then went back home and had sex with my (cunt/ex) girlfriend. A week on Wednesday I'll be 21. I've got mountains of debt and no full time job to pay it off, I'm not in college and not only am I single, but my arm hurts so much I doubt I'll be able to masturbate.
