it's good to be home.

We went to California to visit my mom for Christmas it was very nice, she got to meet Joe and she got me lots of cute stuff plus the weather was amazing it was like 60 and sunny. We drove up to lake Tahoe it was really pretty and snowy. Then we went to church with her Sunday then out to lunch with some of her friends afterwards it was nice to meet them and meet her friends, although Sacramento is not very veggie friendly nor vegan friendly. It wasn't very pretty though it is a lot of strip malls and pavement and freeways. We flew back on Christmas day at 6am so we had to be up at 3am blah! As soon as we touched down back in Portland we ran off the plane as soon as we could we were so happy to be back home, back to riding our bikes around and eating good food. We missed our bikes and wished we would of taken them to California with us but glad we didnt because the drivers are not very aware of the bike lanes unlike good ole bike friendly Portland (bike friendliest place in the us!) our friend Rob was out of town for like a month and spoiled us by letting us use his car. I am glad to be back on my bike now though, minus the rain but it is way better than snow!! We got our marriage license woohoo so we are going to be putting that to use sooner or later, if it expires we will just go get another one later. My mom said she is going to give me a nice chunk of change woo. Any way I am going to get on my bike and head down to my friends house.
