(no subject)
I popped my Placebo cherry, and fuckme, what a way tro pop it! I was front row, off to the side a tad because I detest being center, anyway I knew a lot of the security there so I, well we me and my friend, were well taken care of. Before I continue I must say I was so close to the speaker that one of ears cannot hear well...oh and if I make many typos....bite me, I went for a few drinks after the concert with some of the security and I'm tipsy. :p
I don't remember the set list, because I'm old and my brain doesnt function like it used to, but I'll tell you the songs played, well they begun with Infra Red which I used to HATE, note...used to, the song is GREAT live and YES I enjoyed it like fuck. They played, without you, blind, follow the cops back home, special K, every you, running up that hill (im a kate bush fan so was thrilled they sung it), taste in men, i know.(OHMIGAWDKILLMENOW), bitter end, special needs...etc.
They played for an hour and 45mins, which was NOT enough, all you that have been to a 'cebo concert know that even if they play for seven hours you'll still want more!
You could hardly see Steven from the drum-kit...grr...but he came out after to take a bow, and WOW he's big! I mean built and MANLY! He is VERY sexy. Brian is so CUTE, he's lil' and he looks like a dolly. I was surprised to see he looks a bit different in photos. He is beautiful, and his voice is amazing and a big BRAVO to him for sounding every OUNCE as good as he sounds on cd.
Now, Stef...good golly...Ive heard nothing but praise for Stefan and I always wondered...is he that cool?
Boys and girls, yes, STEF is brilliant and amazing and gorgeous (the pix do him no justace, but I noticed that he's not THAT much taller than me...I'll tell you why ina bit.) Stef moves on stage like it's his fucking lover, and I am sooooo thankful he showed that passion for it. Damn, that boy felt every single beat inside him....thats what it looked like.
So, THANK YOU PLACEBO for a concert I will remmeber till I turn old and grey, but an extra THANK YOU to Stef for showing me, us, whatever, that hes a TRUE artist. I humbly bow down to him.
I got some pix, some videos, which i will share, and a gorgeous SLASHY moment...gah....involvimg Brian entwined in Stef's legs...guitar's playing, it was deliciously hot and sinful!

Stef was by our side of the stage and was often looking our way, i mean he was there, we where there *shrug.* My friend pokes me saying 'he's always looking at us.'
me>'i know,....fuck right?'
friend>'he's cute, and he's great.'
me>'next time he comes over i'll blow him a kiss.'

weeeell, im not one to set myself up on a dare then back down, fuck no!
a few songs later Stefan comes and sits on the speakers in front of us, he was looking at us, so I put my hands to my lips, press a kiss to them and blow it his way. He looks at me a moment...sorta contemplating, confused, I dont fucking know...hasnt anyone blown a kiss to him before? then he smiles at me, i mean MEGA smiles, puts his hand to his lips and blows me a kiss back. I had people pokeing me in the ribs for that and my friend was laughing.
'HE BLEW YOU A KISS.'
Me>'told you i'd do it.'
God bless you Stefan, you are a commodoty to the band and play to the crowd in the most beautiful of ways....i take my hat off to you.
SO, songs go on and all a sudden....four or so songs down the line what do I see but Stef on the floor a meter and a half away from us. I'm trying in desperation to get my camera on when he's walking in front of us, playing his guitar and then he stops...STOPS in front of me, looking at me and we both break out in the biggest of smiles, he lingers for a moment in my face ( i notice he's wearing a necklace i'd die for),then looks down at his guitar and moves one. He didnt stop once, except at me, he didnt look at anyone but his guitar, 'cept me, and fuck yah it felt good. :)
And yah, it'll be my happy thought for a while, so...once again...Stef...I take my hat off to you. (for the zillionth time.)
I wish I got to see Steve more, but how much of yousrself can you show from behind the drum-kit? My guess is...not much.
Brian, he's a spit-fire, beautiful voice that sounds fab live or not.
I don't get impressed easily...hell, it take a shit load to impress me but...fuckme, I was flabbergasted.
The guys, all of them, did a FANTASTIC JOB and from the bottomless pit of my heart I thank them for a night I will remember....a fragmented shard I shall add as a happy thought.
