Tonight was ridiculous. Last second, I decided I'd bring Kristin along to Boston with me. Because the thought of going to see AG all alone again was unbearable. I can't enjoy myself as much as I would with a friend. So we went. We got to the venue just in the KNICK of time. During AG's first song. I'm sure he knew who I was. He saw me. I saw his eyes meet mine as I was walking down the stairs into this "pit" in front of the stage, yeah. That girl who seems to be EVERYWHERE he is, right. Stalker. I could see him, seeing me. I swear. I got pictures. I'm suureee they're beautiful. Probably better than any I've ever gotten. Considering the fact that I was much closer than any other. And such.
We met up with Mr. Adam Flaherty and his friend Tim, who were standing right in the front. It was beautiful. AG has the best dance moves ever! Ever! But yes. After his set was done and through - half an hour - Adam wanted to go talk to AG. So we did. It was decent. He creates a ton of awkward moments. For example, I asked him about the X-ray Vision vinyl. And he explained that it was old. And bad. Old. And bad. Over again. And again, different wording. And while he was doing this. His big fat Jewish eyes were drinking into mine. They would not move. I was panicking. Stare, stare. AG is staring at me. This is like... that dream I had. Okay, I'm psycho. So as this was rambling through my head.. "What do I do? Nod and stare back? He's staring! Ah! Creepy! Oh, I love you... Creepy! Why aren't you blinking?" I nervously looked away. And awkwardness... "So, yeah.. how old is it?" "How old is what?" "The vinyl?" "Oh.. oh. I was 14 when I made it. And I'm 22 now. So... " He does the math. And then end of awkwardness. He's much too strange, but in a perfect sort of way.
Adam suggested we take pictures. So we did. Shot one: Adam and AG doing a dance move. Shot two: AG proposed we loiter by the garbage can for this shot. So he sits down next to the garbage can and I sit next to him. And I say "so, we're loitering, I suppose." hahaha. "yes, yes, that's what we're doing." Giggle, giggle. Adam takes the picture. No flash. OH NO! NO FLASH. So we're like.. "another one?" Another one is taken. Shot Three: We were all picking our noses. Hopefully I'll have this picture to show tomorrow because it was taken on Adam's digital. It's pretty funny. hahah. Shot Four: Kristin and AG looking macho and gangsta, plus AG wearing my lobster hat as though it were a yamaka. So beautiful.
Them Irish hotties, The Thrills, took the stage with a bang. And a little after the first song, I think have the room realized that the name of the band is actually pronounced THE TRILLS and not THE THRILLS. Pretty funny. They were decent. Anyone who can rock the harmonica like that is awesome. That's my theory.
Show comes to an end. We say bye to AG. Hugs. All that good stuff. Then Kristin, Adam, Tim and I went to MacDoh's pour some beverages and snacks. "Can I have a king-size drink? Oh wait.. this isn't Burger King. I take that back. Can I get a super-size drink?" And then we took a walk back to Adam's car. Saw AG on the way and said a see ya later, alligator again.
Then we left.
Fun.
I'm wicked tired.
And
Adam Flaherty is much too cool.
MUCHHH TOOO COOOL.
I definitely hope we hang out again sometime.
