i thought i would be really excited about school today, but i wasnt. i did enjoy seeing how people changed over the summer, for better and for worse. who got fatter, thinner, different hair colors, different hair cuts, tatoos, peircings, tans, and any other way they may have altered their appearance.
i love how all the new freshman (and some clueless sophmores and hopeless juniors) are into a certain scene. whether it be the young punks with lime green liberty spikes and anarchy patches covering their jansports, or the group of "goths" who feign depression and angst while decked out in their new hot topic school clothes that theyre mommies bought for them, or the steriotypical emo kid with the super tight jeans and shaggy/emo swooped hair. i just hope as they continue to blossom into adulthood, they will recognize the error of their ways and help others too.
brani and i went to moes after school for a small celebratory dinner where i was informed by brianna dykes that several people think that we look alike (brianna and i). i dont really know what i look like, unless i look in the mirror, but they didnt have one handy at the register. so here's today survey question:
