Vince's Holiday Party
Vince's party was so much fun! Of course bad luck had to strike, but that's because it follows me. Well, first Nat and I went to a liquer (sp I don't spell it often) store and I went in to by some sparkling cider. Well, they tried carding me...they weren't the brightest crayons in the box. I'm like "well, here's my license, although I'm only 17 and it's only apple cider" He's like "damn, I thought I was going to bust somebody" and I was like "haha, no, sorry...if you want I can go back and pretend to try and purchase alcohol" They laughed and I left. Now I'm on my way to vince's house, driving in the dark, in unknown territory, in the rain for the first time. It was fun. My sis was with me and we got to hang out :-). The only wrong turn I made was into the deli near vince's house because my dad said my turn was near there...I just came back out and went to vince's house. Then it was the actual party, nat and I were the first ones there (we left super early in case we got lost...or stolen). And he had a very pretty set up that brittany helped him with. I got to see a whole bunch of awesome people I haven't seen in a while and I met a whole bunch of awesome people from dreamspinners. I brought boggle. It was very helpful methinks. It turned out to be a great conversation piece and helped people mingle and get to know each other. I played one round with the dreamspinners before it was time to go.
So now back to the bad luck. Whilst I was boggling, I leaned over a candle and my hair caught fire. Due to my supa quick reflexes though, I was able to pat it out w/out much damage...I made the room smell for a while though of burnt hair and my hair smelled bad. It's ok though, I'm just clumsy.
I had a blast at the party. There were so many different characters there. good job vince! that party was supa fly.
Then on our way home, nat made me take like four exit ramps when it would have just been easier to make a right onto jackson...I mean...I saw it before the exit ramp. lol. Fun times!
Now it's time for me to do my reading over the break. The Bell Curve is a really interesting book! I also have tons of ap bio, physics, italian, and English work to do, but that can come after I'm done reading at least one leisure book.
