OMG, I'm caught up!
Too bad it won't last. I have all sorts of things I wanted to write about, but life has been VERY busy and is about to get much more so (I really thought that when Daughter Number Two went back to school I would have lots of time. HA!).
My sister and her partner arrived in town last night, I'm supposed to be spending the day with them, but they've not called yet (I expect they are still jet lagged). Hubby just came home as I opened this window to write, which means that he's going to want me to help him any time now (he's doing taxes; yes, we are late, but we got an extension and the tax appointment is on Saturday).
Tonight, I am deserting my family so that I can go with a friend to see Avengers again (8th time for me, first for her). Tomorrow Daughter Number One finally comes home from abroad. Once that happens I will have almost no time to my self until she goes off to school in about two weeks. So you might not hear from me until after that.
I'm really hoping that these two weeks will all be good. I've been sad lately (which I thought was not supposed to happen if I was taking antidepressants?), so it could go either way.
Anyway, mostly I wanted you to know that I was indeed alive, I've been reading my flist and trying to comment when I can (or have anything interesting to say). Perhaps in a few weeks, when both girls are back in school and Hubby is back to working 11hrs a day 7 days a week, I'll have more time to write? (I have no idea how people with families and jobs manage to write ever)
Oh, while I'm here, quick brag: Daughter Number Two is in two theatre classes this year and they each put on two shows for the school year. They just cast the first show in each class, and in the Children's Theatre class, D#2 was cast in the role that was the most coveted. Almost everyone auditioned for it, and then they asked D#2 to try for it, and she got it! This is her senior year (omg) so that makes it even cooler. Yes, I'm a proud mom (she's very happy with the role she has in the other show as well)!
