So it's only just (just! Can't believe I didn't know before) come to my attention that there's an upcoming BBC Sherlock Holmes series, starting Sunday night.
Um. The title to this entry is pretty self explanatory. I'm confused - is there any way in which this could potentially be considered a Good Thing? Um. (Yes, I realise I'm being petty and over-reacting, but...blah, whatever. And I'm not going into reasons as to why I think it's a Very Bad Thing, because most of them are kinda ridiculous, such as: AHEM. IT'S NOT JEREMY BRETT. AHEM. *coughsacrilegecoughcough*)
However, the final fucking cherry-on-the-cake is that the series is co-written by Moffat. I have recoursed to eating large tubs of ice-cream in defiance.
