autumn.
i believe fall is becoming my favorite season. the cool/crisp feel (although that's been lacking a bit, it being so. cal and all)... and so many amazing childhood memories of halloweens, pumpkins, new school supplies, beautiful leaves, and warm clothes. there's just something grand about the whole thing. and as soon as i move out, i am going to decorate for fall... yet not cheesey decorating, you know? classy decorating. cute and classy. can't wait.
i've been baking. and by "i've been" i mean i baked twice. last friday was an apple crisp. yesterday was pumpkin bread WITH crumb topping. SO good. both turned out really well. i am quite pleased with myself. i decided that while living at home, i WILL master baking. especially seasonal baking. cooking's just too hard with people not wanting to eat what i would like to learn to cook. you know? but everyone loves baked goods. :) stay tuned. next friday: pumpkin cheesecake.
ellie is so close to crawling. she's up on all fours rocking and she moves, but its not crawling. but its darn cute. she is so cute. and typically a happy baby. i love her so much. and i can't wait for halloween with her! she's going to be a monkey.
things are just nice right now. plugging away at school. making progress. figuring things out. and enjoying time that i have with my little lady. enjoying time with my family. and with jala. and occasionally friends. i'm hoping to up that area soon.
oh, and my job's excellent. love my school. love the staff. love the kids. love the schedule. i like having a job. accomplishing positive things. its nice.
ok. now ellie's thinking tummy time is boring and she's probably tired. nap time! good saturday to all.
