Update on the sucky life of me... that sounds so emo
I got a job at a jewelry kiosk b/c Lauren and Brian convinced the lady I'm a hard worker... well today I went and found out she didn't want to pay me for training. Fuck that. I stayed for like 2 hrs and it was slow so she let me go home and basically trained me for 15 mins and let me stay at the kiosk alone... and she wants me to open tomorrow... I think I'm going to tell her soon I'm not going to work for her.
I got a call from Lauren today saying that her friend that works at Express heard I was getting hired. They were supposed to call me back on Wed and didn't. I even went up to the store and Anar said Orlando would be back in half an hr. I went back and Orlando said he'd call back in half an hr. No calls.
So today I call and he said he'd call back and wrote down my name and #. Nothing. Called back and nothing. Called back again, right before closing time and I got the job.
Yay for persistance.
I'm working there p/t. =) Can't wait for discounts.
Rachel, really sorry about your computer... I still don't see how it could've done that to your computer. I'm still using that site...
Call me if you wanna borrow my laptop... and once I get my discount and save up monies, we're going shopping together. <3
