I got in from my SD trip last night. It was great fun and a much needed that getaway. I visited Holly and we had great fun having dinner at a little Thai place, Extraordinary Desserts :], and then stand-up comedy DVD's of Demetri Martin and the Upright Citizens Brigade (I had no idea gray's anatomy/private practice lady was married to that bald guy... what was he thinking? Oh yes! I said it). The next day we grabbed goods from the Japanese market and I was dropped off at Mission beach. I stayed there for the next 3 hours alone where I consumed my cucumber sushi, white peach, and jasmine tea and napped on and off until my family came. We ran through the water and collected shells and baby sand dollars off the beach. After that we went back to the hotel, had a good swim in their ice cold pool and became soup in their jacuzzi. The next day we went to the wild animal park where I contemplated going on a hot air balloon ride... I chickened out this time, but plan to go on one before my next b-day. I also saw a meerkat with a boner lounging in the sun, it was too funny. After spending about 5 hours at that park we went to have birthday dinner for my sis and headed home. All in all it was a really great trip and plan on going back again.
