Even luxurious casino resorts aren't perfect.

It's not that Faye's gotten tired of the casino itself -- it's been the most time-consuming source of entertainment here for her -- and it's not that she hasn't enjoyed her hotel room and her seemingly endless supply of hot water for showers and baths.

It's not even that she's upset that Spike and Jet haven't at least called her comm demanding to know what she did with the cash from the ship's safe, but she's surprised they haven't.

Spike's only been spotted once, and there's been no sign of Jet at all. Not even when she finally ventured back onto the ship to get a few of her things. What the hell are those two doing?

She could call them, but she stubbornly refuses to.

She could even take the elevator down five floors (assuming it doesn't break down again like it must have once when it was coming down from the eighth floor) and see if that gutsy easy-on-the-eyes priest is still around, but... she doesn't. It's not her style.

And what's worse is that she hasn't even been able to catch Big Shot at all. There's some stupid talk show on when it should be.

Tonight she's taking a long hot bath, her only companions a book, a cigarette, and an ashtray. Maybe after that she'll go see if she can find any way to vent this frustration.
