When I finally started watching Merlin I called it my "bedtime show". I would watch one episode per night curled up with my laptop and it became my happy place. Of course, it eventually went from being a fun show to a fun-and-heartbreaking show to a, well, mostly heartbreaking show. But no matter what I loved it all the same.
The mix is a gift for, well, so many of you. First and foremost, this is a gift for the fabulous hereghost who encouraged me to watch Merlin in the first place. Thank you for the capslocked texts and emails and, most importantly, all the FEELS.
Secondly, this mix is for the wonderful grey_spider. You got me started on this mix when you mentioned an Arthur and Merlin mix when I asked you wanted you wanted for your birthday. Even though I loved mixing for Neville, I was just as inspired by your other idea and had to mix for the two sides of the same coin as well!
I also have to dedicate this mix to the amazing ladyapplesauce. I hope this two-volume monster of a mix will help you with the Merlin-shaped hole in your heart.
I could keep naming names, but in all honesty this mix really is a mix for all of you. I really loved being a part of this fandom.
