I've always had a soft spot for the dynamic between Blair and Dan ever since the first episode, mainly because I was told how similar Gossip Girl was to Hana Yori Dango, and after watching the pilot I was like "If this show is Hana Yori Dango, then it's clearly genderswapped Hana Yori Dango and Dan Humphrey is Makino Tsukusi and Blair Waldorf is Doumyouji Tsukasa and this comparison clearly means I'm going to end up shipping Dan and Blair at some point." And, just like I called it, the two of them ended up being my favorites on the show.
This mix pretty much happened thanks to a request from youcancallmelife on tumblr. I really wasn't planning on making another Gossip Girl mix, but I don't get requests that often so I thought I'd go for it. (Plus, I was happy to have an excuse to express my love for this pairing, since I really do adore them.)
