Gals (and guys), I'm kinda digging Rizzoli and Isles. Not like loving it, but it's watchable. I'm watching it while I work right now, it's in the corner of my screen, lol. The thing that makes it interesting to watch, as you may have guessed, is not the thrilling mystery and cop drama portion. It's totally the knife-ready sexual tension between Jane and Mara. Duh.
And TNT, they're smart. They totally play it up. They had them sharing a bed in the first episode. Rizzoli makes comments about Isles' clothes all the time, and how good she looks. They do, of course, have Isles flirting and being flirted with all the time to make sure you know that she's straight, but since Rizzoli doesn't even look at guys unless they're on the force or a bad guy, I guess the heteroness has to be made up somewhere.
It'll be interesting to see if they let this keep going throughout the series, or if it dies out and we're just left with Isles doing her boy crazy thing forever and ever.
Either way, they're both hot and nice to watch. Plus, I'm glad to see Sasha Alexander on TV again.
