I have SO many flist things I need to catch up on.  This last week has been a mess and a half.  I won't go into it, but let me tell you that working so far away from home is seriously salting my game, so to speak.  It especially sucks on nights I have band practice, since I'm in the car for a good hour and a half, and am now arriving a half hour late to it. Ugh.  The guys don't care, but I do cuz I'm me and I freak out even when people tell me not to.  I went to Antioch (where practice/dave's house/all our gear is) four times this last week. At least gas prices are back down!

Work is going pretty well.  I'm finally getting the hang of it, I think.  It's not a hard job, by any definition, but its like when I was at the title company and all I did was sit ALL DAY LONG.  Brittany usually comes up a few times a day so I can pee, so that's nice.  And no one ever forgets my lunch.  People are really nice, too.  A few of them have started calling me 'Rach' which makes me smile, and think I'm actually fitting in.  This Friday is our holiday party, at a schwanky country club, so I have to figure out what the hell to wear.  I also have a show that night, so I'll need to work out logistics, etc.

Speaking of shows, we had one last night that totally blew.  We played Time Out, one of the places we've played practically a billion times, and it was so shitty.  The sound guy wasn't doing his job AT ALL.  I couldn't hear myself, I couldn't hear Kyle, and people in the crowd said everything was so freaking loud that you couldn't make any sounds out.  We were so thrown off by the bad sound that we kept messing up the beginnings of songs, which prompted Kyle to make a joke about it being our first show.  My mom said that we were funny, so at least that helped the situation.  We were playing well, it just didn't sound like it because of the sound. Grr.  On top of everything, they didn't know who to give the money to at the end of the night, so they just didn't.  I wouldn't have even cared, but money goes towards recording, and we brought in a shitload of people.  The booking girl e-mailed me today and apologized because she'd left early and the person she left the money with was the one who didn't give it to us.  So I get to go pick it up tomorrow after work. *SIGH*

South?  Oh, South.  I kinda like the way they ended it, I guess.  All tied up and neat and tidy.  And Spashley moving in together was cute, with the key on the beach keychain.   And the 5 years in the future webisode was creepy, but Spencer and Ashley were so cute, with the kissing, and the hand on the baby belly.  I think the last ep of South and the first ep of Leverage are the only tv I've watched all week.  Oh, wait, I watched an ep of Private Practice on Thursday...I love Addison's hair.

Methinks that's about it.  Sorry for all the not being on and all, I'm still wary of getting on here at work and stuff.

Hope everyone is well. *hugs*
