Hi Festividder! Thank you so much for making me a vid, I'm going to love it so much.
If you find some detail helpful, here are some of my tastes:
Some kinds of vids that I like include: vids that explore the world of the source, swishy dancey action vids, emotional character-driven vids, vids about awesome women whether focused on one individual or a group of them, vids about people who love each other, vids exploring big thematic ideas and imagery, vids about comedy hijinx.
All of the sources I've requested are very dear to my heart in different ways, and seeing one of them come to life in your vid is going to be awesome, I'm so excited. Musically, I haven't met a genre you can't make an awesome vid out of.
Some other bits and pieces that I like - parallels, characters growing into their own awesomeness, hugs, montages, pretty fight sequences, pretty dance sequences, big emotions, sentimentality, meta analysis.

Jupiter Ascending
God I love this wacky delightful space opera. Things I am into about this film - EVERYTHING. In particular - Jupiter Jones, perfect space princess; Jupiter and her guard dog who will follow her around with eyes of love and space werewolf ex-marine with wings; every single one of Eddie Redmayne's acting choices; BEES.
I would love any vid no matter who sincere or comedic. If you feel inclined, please do make the mega earnest vid your inner thirteen year old desires, I'd love to see it. I have a feeling my inner thirteen year old would have vidded it to Muse, if you want to take that and run with it. Also awesome - nuanced character study, crack vid about how ridiculous this is, also did I mention BEES?

An Adventure in Space and Time
This was a docudrama released for the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who about the origins of the show.
I love this - Verity Lambert and Waris Hussein were pioneers, and I thought the film did a great job of setting the origins of the show in the hearts of people who found themselves to be outsiders in the BBC of the time. I'd love a vid about the journey Verity and her colleagues went on to start the show I love today.
Hamilton
I AM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT! So if you're reading this request you have perhaps, like me, been swept away by the majesty of this new Broadway show. I would love for you to vid your feelings whatever they may be - I think this is a challenging thing to vid due to the lack of visual source of material and I don't want to clip your wings!
If you'd like some specifics, Eliza is my precious cinnamon roll favourite, I adore Hamilton and all his feels for Laurens, Eliza, Angelica, and DEMOCRACY, and honestly the whole show is so stirring and beautiful that I'd love to see anything at all about it.

Pride
Ohhhh, reader, I CRIED. Watching this film, every time, tears everywhere. I love what an unlikely true story it is, and how it manages to be amazingly uplifting without shying away from the realities of the time. The power of ordinary people working together to change the world gets me every time.
I think I'd love an ensemble vid most of all, because I couldn't possibly pick just one favourite.

Spy
SUSAN COOPER, HERO OF MY HEART. I desperately adored how this film ended up being her hero's origin story! She gets to so many fantastic things, and I love her bffery with Nancy (I ship it so hard) and her frenemies thing she had going on with Rayna. Everything about this was a delight - I'd love an ensemble/overview vid, a Susan character study, a Susan/Nancy vid, or anything else that your heart desires.

Belle
Ahhh, what a film. Gugu Mbatha-Raw, what a face. I'd love a Belle character study about her journey through the film, I found it very moving, and still resonating today about the importance of seeing ourselves reflected.

RPF - David Cameron Pigfucking Scandal
Well, I nominated this fandom, so I'm gonna have to go ahead and request it! This Gawker article is a good primer for wtf happened: http://gawker.com/everything-we-know-about-david-cameron-allegedly-putt-1732092643
The thing is, this whole clusterfuck pulls up some quite serious and ugly things about the way the British political class works, with its old boys' networks and circles of complicity and silence and power, and if you want to go the serious route then I'm here for that! But also, like, our Prime Minister may have done something unspeakable with a dead pig as part of an absurd university initiation ritual and I find it really funny.
