The crossover thing hit me right at the end of Doomsday, because it seemed like such a blatant nick from HDM. It, err, took me until now to actually get around to writing it though.
I'm very pleased (and relieved!) you liked Will - I have so much love for him writing him was slightly terrifying.
Mm, I find all differing takes in different series on parallel universes really interesting, and I couldn't really cross them over without taking the angsty goodness potential. =( Poor Rose.
Um, yes, anyway. Thank you very much indeed, again!
This is amazing-- not only the premise, that zeppelin!London would be Will's world, but also the execution. I like the structure, and the sort of surreality of the narration. I love this.
This is fabulous - I've always thought Russell Davies must be a fan of HDM, because the endings are so similar. I love the tone here; it's sad, but not overstated. The characterisation is perfect, and the - not banter, that's the wrong word, but the way Rose and Will get on is just lovely.
"he killed God and she killed the Devil" - ha!
What I really love about this story, though, is the way it focuses on the people who were left behind. Lyra and the Doctor may be heartbroken, but they are such doing people. Will and Rose are different.
Thanks for reminding me that I need to reread HDM.
Thank you so very much, I'm really pleased you enjoyed it. I got very interested in the parallels between the characters, so I'm glad that came across. Between them they just about brought down all of religion, didn't they?
