It is an enormously fun exchange - like Yuletide for vids - and I totally recommend it for anyone who thinks it would be fun to vid a small but beloved fandom for someone else. If the deadlines alarm you there's also the option of making low-pressure 'treats' for people instead of/as well as a specific assignment.
And let me tell you, internet, I have requested some AWESOME fandoms. *glees*
