The tide's slowly drawing out, the sound falling in rhythm with Peter's snuffling breaths as he naps splayed out on the beach, erratic burn lines down his right side that will take a good few minutes' wand work to rectify later. As the sun goes down, James takes off, supposedly to check out restaurants for later, but that's a path that rather conveniently takes him straight in the direction of the hotel where Lily's been all afternoon.
There's no one but couples on the beach now, strolling along the shoreline and so wrapped up in each other than the privacy charms Remus is tempted to cast seem quite unnecessary, even more so when Sirius reaches a hand up to cup his neck, drawing Remus down to meet him on the sand with kisses that taste of salt and summer and freedom, until there's no one else in the world.
