One of these days, I have to get organized too. :)
I think of you as already being organized, disciplined and and having structure in your life. I'm surprised to hear that you look at some of the same stuff I do on the internet. Want to see the bunch of aurora borealis screen snaps I just made from internet pictures? Nice and shiny. :)

An old friend of 15+ years deserves a fulfilling retirement. :)

My world used to be more structured as I worked to the agenda of others. Now I'm more answerable to only myself, so I need to work at the organisation stuff more than before.

I signed up for mini-nano again this year, so it'll force me to write at least 100 words a day (my chosen target). Hopefully I'll get something useful and post-able out of that!

Mini nano sounds good. I tried Nano once, but. Failed miserably.i finally completed the story 15 months later at just 17000 words.

the thought of regular nano scares me. i'm amazed by people that can manage such prolific word counts in a month

While I think it's nice to have some ability to keep up with friends and their activities, families, etc. I would love more conversation as LJ used to have.

FB is good for keeping a finger on the pulse of everyone, but it's become overridden with those fuzzy stories and quizzes. They're distracting! To make matters worse, they feed you those things over the REAL posts of your friends.

You may see Filofax again... It would seem strange to travel without him!
