~Lurking in the Shadows
Just out of sight,
Walking where you can't see,
Blending in with the night.
Engulfed by darkness,
Oh, how you strain to see,
But the darkenss of the shadows,
Has become one with me
~Lurking in the Shadows,
Watching you in silence,
Observing the grace of your movements,
Biding my time, one with the quietness
The scent of you fills my head,
You've now become my prey,
Soon I'll have you in my bed,
And never again will you stray.
~Lurking in the Shadows
Choosing my moment with care,
Finally alone I see you standing,
It appears that at me is where you stare.
I step forth from the darkness,
And allow you to glimpse,
Me standing as though from no where,
A gleam in my eye, smile playing about my lips.
~I beckon you closer,
"Come into the Shadows with me,
We'll become one again,
And stay together for all eternity"
Then you walk near,
Looking as though you've seen a ghost,
I take you in my arms,
Your screams, and my laughs, chill the blood of most.
~Lurking in the Shadows,
I leave your empty shell behind,
Upon the ground you lay dying,
Your soul, however, is mine.
Engulfed again by darkness,
None but you have seen me,
I walk away quickly, with the knowledge that,
In my revenge it's happened, Together we'll be, For Eternity.
