Nothingness
That's everything I feel
With an unfocused stare
I lay motionless here
Then the sting of the silver
I wince
I nearly cower in fear
But the hurt still lingers
I muster the courage
Is it really courage?
Or merely stupidity?
Why do I come back to the sting?
I hate it
Yet, it's trapped me
The trickling liquid
The burn, smothered by pressure
What am I doing?
Is this really a pleasure?
I close my eyes and taste the salty tears
Once again on my back, nothingness is here
