Another sort-of brush with the semi-famous

While I was spending a little nostalgia-time thinking about Media and the time I spent there I was reminded of a guy who was friends with several of the housemates - he was one of the Tuesday night Irish music folks and I think was in some fashion connected with the School in Rose Valley. He was very talented musically, played a gob of different instruments, and the last I heard of him he had finally decided to go to college at Bennington -- he and a girlfriend had gotten pregnant in high school and he didn't go to college then - at the time I knew him he was probably 23-25 years old. And he was GORGEOUS. Long blond hair, blue eyes, full lips, and a lovely speaking and singing voice. As a rule I'm not attracted to blond, blue-eyed men, but he was freaking beautiful. And a pretty nice guy, too. In any case, I got an urge to Google him, and kept running across a guy with his name credited on various musical pieces, including the scores to parts (all?) of Matthew Barney's Cremaster Cycle. Sure enough, it's the same guy. I guess he's probably 50+ years old now. I've only found one picture of him, it's tiny, and his hair is done up in some odd way, but no doubt it's him. Guess he did OK.
