Previous entry, lame sauce. But I had to save it.
Last night was a Murphy's night. A little love from Fabes, Gregory, Mary, Sennett, Katie. A lot of love from Mary and Gregory towards the end of the night. I made promises of Jello and tequila and Mary and trouble.
Met up with the illustrious Wylie, Aaron, Jon, DC, and officially met Lonnie. Beers.
Margaret appeared, i sang her praises to anyone within earshot. Had my first real conversation with Tim.
Walked home with Margaret and Tim. Margaret and I managed to make a pizza with olives and red pepper without killing outselves.
we used sharp knives, and ovens. Margaret cut off her bar bracelets with a huge knife. We got yelled at by a sleeping roommate. Then we let the oven beep too much. We talked for about 2ish hours and i think i feel asleep mid-conversation.
Today I classed it up. I was harassed for my horrible curling iron burn. It looks like a hickey, its fucking gross. I would trade this shit for a vicious hickey any day. ANY. DAY.
I THEN went to officially declare my minor. Gender and Women's studies. How do i feel about this? GOOD, except for the fact that im graduation only HALF a year late and I NEED a graduation ceremony. Seriously, after all this crap...I WILL be wearing a U of I cap and gown.
Forgot about a work thing, so I literally RAN across, around, up and down campus to get there. Talked to my boss. She praised my suggestion about integrating a transfer student segment in our training. But since there are no resident transfer student experts employed by the university, i may be making a mini presentation. I am incredibly flattered. Should i be? Yeah, I think so.
Also, i asked her about becoming a student coordinator (basically a boss-man)for next year. It is apparently an application process at the end of the summer. She said that she would be very happy if I applied. I think I would be pretty qualified. I just have to do a stellar job this summer, then I've got it in the bag. THEN I would have a job for next year, that pays me awesome amounts of money. INCREDIBLE experience. good day.
