Uh. I think it has something to do with the fact that I've grown up with both japanese and english?, so for someone with only one language, a concept is equated with a word, and vice versa. In my case, though, words are just a side item. So, if thinking were defined as words processing in your head, I'd say that I don't think at all 99.5% of the time. Except for composing poetry, and maybe a random word that just appears in my consciousness, I don't get words or have a non-verbal conversation with myself. A majority of my neural CPU seems to concern itself mainly with recording my life like a movie and playing music in my head. Weird, eh? I'm a really visual person, so sometimes I get scenarios like movies. Or a few stills... And yes, in color. Is imagination considered thinking? I have a wild imagination I call my "voluntary hallucinations" for the fact that they express themselves in real life, and i wish you could all see them when I do, cause then perhaps you'd find out why I tend to be easily amused. Yes, that is why telepathy could be really fun sometimes.... I'd drive you all mad. Tee hee.
