bad news sucks, especially when it comes out of no where...
things have been quiet, been painting a little, under the blanket of night, happy with what has come of the past few weeks.
it's too hot here to be out during the day. we'll be going to the pool in a little bit.
i've been reading, perhaps not as frequently as i'd like to, but nonetheless. i finally got around to reading 'the jungle' after bullshitting a report in high school and never giving it the time it needed. awesome book. not an upper either.

i feel like my connection with alot of my friends has been limited to reading their status on facebook. i'm about ready to come home.
