"I promise, it will turn you on"

I've developed this party girl/intelligent attitude balance lately. I work hard so I can go out and have some fun.

Last night I went to Leisure (sponsired by Popscene[I don't like Popscene but Leisure isn't bad]) for their one year anniversary. Leisure is specifically britpop and it occurs once a month.

First of all, it was in an ALLEY. 330 Ritch is in an ALLEY. We went inside and it was a big venue, the band was playing, and the drinks were crazy over priced. Double shot of Grey Goose on ice? $8. As I was working on my vodka tonic the evening seemed salvaged when Michael walked through the door. But he slid out as quickly as he slid in, along with two other relevant people.

The second drink was the Grey Goose. And after that I was beyond ready to dance. John and I waited for the crew to clean up the stage because there's something very nice about dancing on a stage. A lot of good britpop came out of Aron Axelson: Gorillaz, The Smiths, Pulp, Blur, Franz, The Streets, Bloc Party, Elastica, etc.

I was dancing with John when I noticed this guy so I was dancing with him and we were having a good time. He offered to buy me a drink but I finished off John's vodka and was in tipsy mode. He pulled me off stage as the crowd thinned out and he kept up with me. I can appreciate any man who can keep up with my dancing because I was on that floor for two hours.

There's something electric about the touch of a stranger.

"You're such a tease."

I'll let your imagination run wild. Besides if you want the really deliciously dirty details all you have to do is ask.

Last call shouldn't mean turning OFF Elvis Costello and turning ON The Verve.

This week: Thanksgiving. Another Club ID. We'll make it right, they'll treat you proper.
