quickie II
My weekend was uneventful but I accomplished a lot-
Yesterday I went to work to purchase my father's birthday gift-$300 later I went out to lunch with him at Baja Fresh. Not my choice but his. I was tired because I had been up until 2 am the previous night working on a paper. The guy at the next table looked familiar and I couldn't place it. Aron Axelson was sitting at the next table and I said hello.
I met Jo at Border's and that was nice to chat and enjoy the sitting in the sun outside sipping coffee. She gave me a 30% off coupon and I bought Pride and Prejudice and two magazines. DCFC is on the cover of SPIN and I just had to read the article inside because it's either going to be really good or horrible. Probably the latter.
I'm going to have a double espresso then go to class which I think runs until 6:30 pm this evening.
Oh yeah, just as I was sitting down today and opening the paper the alarm went off in the student center and I had to vacate the premisis. Bad timing. All I wanted to do was read the news...
