We were robbed. But half of it was returned by the robber.
Wednesday: Big guy about 300 pounds walks into the store. I chat him up a bit while my customer that I'm currently working with is off the phone. My customer is ready to be assisted, so I assist him. The 300 pound man walks over to the computers and just kind of hovers there for a while. I continue helping my customer and closing the sale. Rod is on the phone helping someone find a wetsuit, so he's pre-occupied as well. The 300 pound man is gone once my customer leaves. Nobody saw him leave. I walk over to the computers and two of our computers are gone.
Today: Damien and I are standing at the counter chatting when the 300 pound man walks in again. I whisper to Damien that that's the guy that stole the computers. I chat him up while Damien runs back to call the cops. I was so mad at the theif, I just glared at him while he hovered over the computers. The 300 pound man eventually left after only a couple minutes of being in there, claiming he had to go get his Chinese food next door, when in reality he just gets in his car and drives away in a hurry. Damien comes out and points to one of the computers that the guy RETURNED to us. He only returned one computer, but WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU RETURN SOMETHING YOU STOLE? He's a friggin' idiot.
We had the police come and take a report and finger print, but doubt anything will come from it. We were unable to get his license plate number. But it was fun times, to be sure. We're still missing one computer, I almost wonder if he'll return that one as well. Heh. Next time I'll tackle him. Rawr.
