my own private pantry
We have one computer at my house, in a little nook in the living room. we all want to use it all the time. We can only each use it one half hour a day, but i can listen to music on it & use itunes more than that if nobody is on & i am doing something else at the same time - like reading a book or knitting or writing.
So it's ok for me to write in this as much as i want, but I have no privacy. Anyone can come and look over my shoulder. Actually everybody is pretty good about not peeking, because none of us have any privacy, but it still makes me nervous.
So now everyone is still in bed and I don't have to worry until I hear footsteps on the stairs.
I went to fly up yesterday, it was sad to have the 8th graders leave. I don't feel sad that its my last year. I loved St Bens for a long time, but now I am really ready to go somewhere else. Maybe I'll be sad to leave my friends at flyup next year, but I'll still see them. I still have friends from preschool that don't go to St Bens.
I am reading the Amber Spyglass again. They are going to make those books into movies. I think that Colin Firth should be Lord Azriel in the movie. And maybe Kate Winslet could be Mrs Coulter. I think she could be beautiful and mean enough. Maybe Audrey Tatou could be a witch. I just can't imagine a good lyra and will. Like the girl from Harry Potter, she just wouldn't be right. I think that they could do the bears with computers, because they dont act really human. But most of this book is Lyra and Will and I cant think of anyone who would be good enough to be them. If they aren't good the book will be ruined.
