Spring Break (Road trip, Punch-Drunk Love, Chicken Wings, Hurricane Houses.....)
So today, is the last day for my Spring Break. Well technicaly tomorrow, but whatever. It could of been better, but looking on the bright side--it wasn't bad. I actually went on a small road trip which was nice. I learned a bit about myself, doing different things will do that to you.
I recently saw this Paul thomas Anderson film, "Punch-Drunk Love" with Adam Sandler and Emily Watson. Its now one of my favorites, along with Memento, Malcom X, and others. Its a very beautiful film, that could onyl come from the dude that made "Boogie nights and Magnolia." If you really want to see Adam Sandler "act" rent this one, its really-really good.
When you're in a state of blankness, you start to think. I thought to myself what are you goign to do Christopher? Sure I get great grades, but you never really set a goal for what you want.you get all of these scholarship forms and College forms in the mail, but you usually brush them off.
On Friday, I kept tackling the dillema, do I want to be a Psychiatrist, Psychologist or Optometrist? That saturday evening I got in the mail this student--learning form. Its for students interested in the field of medicine. basically for the summer I get to hang around doctors and stay in some college dorm, among other kids from around the country. I'd like to call this divine intervention.
That Shiavo lady is going to starve like a Vietcong prisoner. So she'll die on f-Friday...hhhmmmm
