(no subject)
Okay, A-kon was AMAZING!!! I mean 15,000 people!!! And it ranges from 5 yr olds (and younger b/c kids are born into these things) to like 75 yr olds!! It was just...wow. I was freaked at first b/c i was alone and all but Haunhaun met me at the door and while I was in line for reg.( long ass line, will pre-reg in future) I spotted Kate and Gautam. It was a relief. I also got hit on....scary. The opening ceremonies was awesome. Red vs Blue did the rules. Amusing. And the audience, as u can expect from anime people, was very interactive. I skippe the concert though but I did go to yaoi-fest. GOD that was FUN!!! U all know how I talk to the screen but usually I keep it down and talk to the person near me. Well these people YELL and there is not censoring. NONE, NADA. It was so fun. I spent my time watching the crowd b/c I had seen all the yaoi they showed. Sooo fun. The other memorable thing was the Cosplay. God that was fun. I am going to everyone I can from now on. BTW the Dulles team won Best in Show!!!!!! Go Dulles!!! The people are so fun!!
I think I'll cosplay next year. I'll go as Jin from Samuri Champloo and (most likely) as Yuuko from Xxxholic/Tsubasa. I like Yuuko. She grants wishes but at a price. And she has some of the most amazing outfits. I think I'll do the one she wears when she meets Li and Sakura. It's simple and elegant and my sis loves it. It'll b interesting to see how I pull this one off. I need to make a pattern and everything. Plus the wig. Very long black hair. I could try to grow mine but it'll never gow that long so....hmmmm, I need to as haunhaun which wig website to go to. he dragged me to a panel on casplay. Fun actually. Either way I will need help so help me kiddies.
